We also take a hard look at much of the church today that seeks fame and authority that leads into hypocrisy and sin. Although not fun-filled message, it is one that helps us look to Jesus as an example. What makes one great? What is the Servant's Way? The series for October is "Kingdom Values." This second part is "Treasure in Heaven," however, it this not the typical treasure talk from the book of Matthew. Instead, it is an integration value message. Do you believe and live out what you say (or profess)? Does it really matter if we are forgiven? New series for October, "Kingdom Values." This series begins with the message "Faith Like a Child," however, it this not the typical faith message. Instead, it is much more of an identity message. Who is God? What kind of relationship is He desiring from us? As a child of God, we must place our faith in Jesus Christ rather than the many "alternatives" that the world offers us.  Scriptures taken from the Revised Lectionary: Genesis 2:18-24, Hebrews 1:1-4, 2:5-12, and Mark 10:2-16.

We conclude our series for September, "Faith that Works" with the message "Salt and Peace." This past month, we've been talking about faith that actually works. Today, we looking out people that steel your peace and what can of faith actually is "salt" that preserves truth and peace. Who is the largest threat to your peace? Is it the rabble of the world or the religious?  Join us as we see how the salt of the world lives out a faith that brings peace. Another reason for people to disregard Christ. Yet, many are also turned off of Christ from ministers who walk with arrogance, a fake humility, or jealousy and arguments targeted at other Christians. Is this really what Jesus has called His people to? Join us as we look at that the leadership that Jesus demonstrated and taught. Let's see what being the greatest servant is about.
